Emmanuel Waldron

Biography

Emmanuel Waldron is a London born award-winning pianist who has played for HM Charles III (who personally commended Emmanuel) & the Queen Consort, HM The Queen & HRH The Duke Of Edinburgh, the London Mayor, the Queen Of Jordan, the Pope and other global dignitaries.

It was at the age of 6 that Emmanuel’s musical journey began when, through private tuition he was introduced to classical music. Over the next 8 years, he developed a wealth of understanding in other music genres such as Jazz, Gospel, Blues, R’n’B, and Soul.

He also discovered he had perfect pitch, and with frequent opportunities in his local church and at other diverse events, Emmanuel developed in his ability to play the piano, keyboard & synths (as a soloist and accompanist) and established himself as a sought after musician having worked with a vast array of artists and bands in the UK and internationally.

Emmanuel has worked with and/or shared the stage with the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Karen Gibson & The Kingdom Choir, Annie Lennox, London Community Gospel Choir, Ruby Turner, David & Carrie Grant, Ronan Keating, Courtney Pine, Pixie Lott, Alfie Boe, Beverley Knight, Jools Holland, Steve Brookstein (world’s 1st X-Factor winner), The Philharmonia Orchestra, soul singer Kenny Thomas and many other music artists.

Emmanuel has also performed at many iconic venues including Buckingham Palace, The Royal Albert Hall, Westminster Abbey, The BBC and ITV tv centres, Gleneagles, The 606 Jazz Club, The Shakespeare’s Globe and The South Bank amongst others.

Emmanuel has had the pleasure of performing impromptu on stage with the late George Duke at the Jazz Cafe, London and also with jazz great Don Grusin in London too. His music has taken him to the USA, Jordan (for the Jordanian royal family), Dubai (Burj Al Arab 7* hotel), Trinidad, Slovakia, Russia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Jersey, Scandinavia and across the majority of the European continent!

Emmanuel is also a recording & performing artist!

Throughout 2023 Emmanuel released single tracks as part of his 9th recording project which is due for completion and release this year!
He released his self-produced 8th album “Summer Chilled Piano – The Piano-Led Project” in July 2022 through all major online stores and also at www.emmanuelwaldron.bandcamp.com.

The arrangements of the tracks in ‘Summer Chilled Piano’ showcases a bit more of Emmanuel’s classical side in addition to the strings and synth arrangements that support his ear-catching melodic, harmonic and rhythmic piano playing.

Emmanuel’s 7th album ‘A Piano Chilled Christmas’ was released in December 2020 and before that his sixth album ‘Live at Flekkefjord Spira – Norway’ was released at the end of 2019! This project featured a mixed band from London & Norway and soulful vocalist Jnr Robinson.

His 5th release from 2018 ‘Chaordicism’ (Kay-Ord-Ik-Izm) is a unique jazz album full of simple melodic phrasing, and soulful, harmoniously funky, grooving numbers including the Stevie Wonder inspired cover version of the ‘Sting’ classic Fragile (feat. Jaz Ellington) which Emmanuel released as a single also in 2018. Chaordicism continues to receive acclaim within the music industry and is available from all major online digital stores and CDs are available on the store page.

Having previously released another four other album projects gives credit to Emmanuel as a producer. His fourth recording ‘All Seasons’ (2013) is a classy, soulful jazz album which was recorded live. This followed the release of his third album ‘Everything U Are’ (2011), a smooth soulful combination of instrumental and vocal features tracks.

Emmanuel also has another two solo-piano albums to his name. ‘Portrait of a Journey’ (2000) and ‘Still Waters’ (2009). Both albums were recorded spontaneously. All albums are also available from the store page and from online digital stores.

Emmanuel has featured and continues to feature in recording projects and has even recorded for Bollywood projects!

Emmanuel recently produced the soundtrack of ‘Grease’ for Horsens Musical Theatre Company, Denmark for their version of the iconic musical.

Emmanuel has also had the opportunity to feature in theatre productions.
He was the band leader for the musical ‘Simply Heavenly’, which won several awards and nominated for ‘Outstanding Musical’ at the Laurence Olivier Awards in 2005. Emmanuel was also the pianist at the Shakespeare’s Globe’s hit show ‘The Frontline’ in 2008 and 2009.

Emmanuel is currently based in Norway and has set up his own music school and music services company. There he teaches and conducts piano/keyboard and band workshops for beginners to advanced level musicians and he also provides music services which include online teaching, creating backing tracks, [online] mentoring, help & advice globally!

Emmanuel also performs as an international jazz music artist.
